Ala Moana Shopping Center is located in the center of Honolulu and is one of the largest open-air malls in the world. The mall is home to over 200 stores and is known for having the flagship stores for most international, national, and local retailers. Also located in the mall is the Makai Marketplace, which is one of the largest international food courts in the nation. Another major shopping center on Oahu is Pearlridge Center, which is home to over 100 stores, two food courts, and a movie theater. It is also Hawaii’s only two-phased mall connected by monorail. The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center is another major shopping mall located in the heart of Waikiki, offering over 150 stores in its three-story complex. The mall also offers dining and entertainment opportunities and is home to many European designer boutiques.

For those people in search of a celebrity home or luxurious accommodations for island style living, Oahu isn’t a bad place to look. With dozens of celebrities passing through Hawaii for work and pleasure, it’s not uncommon to see some of the world’s biggest stars relaxing at beachfront homes and valley getaways.
